Steve Erickson has 25 years of experience in public accounting and executive financial positions.  Steve actively helps SageCreek accounts with a variety of operational and financial items. For example, Steve has helped multiple executive teams analyze and create business plans and financial models. This hands on help has been instrumental in enabling accounts to successfully prepare for and receive additional rounds of funding. Steve has a strong network of contacts in the venture capital and banking community that has been valuable in helping SageCreek accounts build strategic financial partnerships.

Prior to working at SageCreek Partners, Steve was Vice President of the Altiris Business Unit within Symantec responsible for the successful operational integration of Altiris with Symantec.

Steve was CFO at Altiris, a company that went public in 2002 and was acquired for over $1B by Symantec in 2007. As CFO, Steve oversaw the process to secure pre-public venture capital, the IPO process, and post IPO secondary offerings.  Steve helped raise hundreds of millions of dollars in this process. Steve also oversaw SARBOX compliance as well as working closely with the audit and tax teams.

Prior to Altiris, Steve was CFO/Controller at a privately held $135 million corporation where he oversaw all aspects of financial management.  Steve has 10 years of audit and accounting experience with Deloitte & Touche and Arthur Anderson.
