Mentor Capital Firm SageCreek Partners Appoints Russ Warner Managing Director, Latin America

May 6, Alpine, Utah–SageCreek Partners, a
consulting company that provides “mentor capital” for technology businesses,
has taken a key step in its international expansion with the appointment of Russ Warner to
the position of Managing Director, Latin America. Warner will provide guidance
to U.S. companies looking to expand to Latin America as well as bring Latin
American companies into the growing portfolio of SageCreek Partners accounts.

and Managing Director Russ Warner have been named to the
vSpring Capital Top 100 Venture Entrepreneurs
for 2009
list of individuals most likely to launch successful

Russ Warner is a sales leader with demonstrable success in building sales
teams, forming strong customer partnerships, and developing valuable business
alliances and channel partners in the U.S., Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Prior to SageCreek, he was VP Sales for Alianza, based in Mexico City, where he
attained over 100 percent revenue growth, restructured the partner channel, and
increased the customer base within fourteen months to position the company for
sale to Alestra (AT&T Mexico) in late 2008.

Before Alianza, Warner was Director-Latin America Sales for Altiris Inc.
and established the Latin America division with offices and sales teams in five
countries and a partner channel and alliances in 18 countries. Under his
leadership, the start-up division reached $14M in sales and created channel,
sales certification, and consulting programs used as models for other sales
regions.

Warner has also served as Director of Field Sales, Operations, &
Education for Novell Latin America and as Director of U.S. Sales at Novell Inc.
and at WordPerfect Corporation.
