Arellia is headed by CEO Michael Sainsbury, who was formerly VP Software Architecture for Altiris (now Symantec), and prior to Altiris, was the CTO of Computing Edge (acquired by Altiris in 2000). At Computing Edge, Sainsbury was the primary developer of the Altiris Notification Server, which included technology that is core to the strength of the Symantec Management Platform that is prevalent in the market today.
